Second rise of the "Arch"

   In the period from 12 to 14 June 2013 at the site of the "Shelter" of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was made the second of a planned three rises of the eastern part of the New Safe Confinement (NSC, "Arch"). The rise was produced for about 70 hours. The height of the NSC during the recovery increased by 33 meters and now stands at 85 meters.

   Third rise construction is scheduled in the end of 2013, after which the eastern part of the NSC will be moved to the side of the "Shelter" and on the vacant site to begin the assembly of structures western part of the "Arch".
