Should the city of Pripyat be saved?:

Kiev Photo Gallery presented the photo album "Dolls of Chernobyl

The first is sad, the second is crying, the third is laughing. They are all different, but all are the same. So says about dolls you see in Chernobyl Ukrainian photographer Anton Borodavka.

February 14, he presented a photo album called "Dolls of Chernobyl." This book offers series of "Exclusion Zone" - the fate of the Ukrainian Polesie land affected by the Chernobyl accident. After several expeditions the photographer got almost seven hundred dolls, abandoned in the area. The album shows only one and a half, hundreds of toys. Chernobyl puppets, the author explains, represent the lost childhood and the carefree happiness.

Anton Borodavka, co-author of the photo album " Dolls of Chernobyl”:

- We searched for these dolls that stayed there for 22 years science the disaster . But not those seen by all the tourists. Because the area is now available almost to any tourist, one can come on a tour and visit kindergarten "Golden Key" and make pictures. We are looking for dolls that were in the hidden kindergartens, in which no one enters, and searched for them there.
