'The Kitchen Factory'

Despite its fancy name, it did not produce cupboards or any other kitchen appliances. Early at the dawn of the Soviet state it was decided that in order to be liberated from 'kitchen slavery' the working class should reheat their food rather than cook it. In the cities huge factories were built to produce half-prepared food. Before the coming of microwave era these 'Kitchen Factories' were handy as a source of quick-to-serve food.
